McHUGH, Justice:

In this disciplinary proceeding, the Committee on Legal Ethics of the West Virginia State Bar (hereinafter “the Committee”) recommends that this Court suspend the law license of the respondent, Mark A. Karl, a member of the Bar sitting as a Circuit Judge in the Second Judicial Circuit since January, 1993, for a period of six months and assess the costs of the proceeding against the respondent.
