In an action to recover damages for *430personal injuries, etc., the defendant appeals, as limited by his brief, from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Mason, J.), dated May 21, 1999, as denied that branch of his motion which was to dismiss the complaint for lack of personal jurisdiction.

Ordered that the order is reversed insofar as appealed from, on the law, with costs, that branch of the defendant’s motion which was to dismiss the complaint for lack of personal jurisdiction is granted, and the complaint is dismissed.
