The defendant, Joseph C. Edenfield, appeals the dismissal of his motion requesting that the court modify his sentence of imprisonment and grant him a suspended sentence. On appeal, the defendant argues that the trial court erred in its finding that it lacked jurisdiction over the defendant’s sentence because of his transfer to the Department of Correction.
