ERROR to the Common Pleas of Lehigh county, in an action of assumpsit, brought by the overseers of the poor of the township of South Whitehall against the overseers of the poor of the township of North Whitehall, for money paid by the former to the use of the latter. These two townships formerly constituted one township called Whitehall, which was divided on the 22d November, 1810, into North Whitehall and South Whitehall townships.

This is an action on this case brought by the overseers of the poor of the township of South Whitehall, against the overseers of the poor of the township of North Whitehall, in the county of Lehigh.
