J eans, to try titles and recover the possession of the north-west quarter of the north-west quarter of section seven, in township twenty, range thirteen east, in the Coosa lancl-district. The defendant was in the possession of the laud as the tenant of one William M. Cos-per, who claimed title to it in himself.
