Hugo Kraus, now deceased, in his lifetime held a mortgage covering property on Adelina Place, North Bergen, New Jersey, which he foreclosed through his attorney, I. George Koven. At the sheriff's sale Kraus bid in the property, and by an agreement with the complainant, the title thereto was taken in her name to be held by her for the benefit of Kraus. The complainant had no beneficial interest in the property. The sheriff conveyed the property described in the bill of complaint to the complainant (Exhibit C-1).
