In 1928 Max Held Realty Corporation acquired a tract of land in the town of Greenburgh, Westchester county, and undertook to establish a residential development known as Edgemont Hills. Various portions of the development were thereafter conveyed to different grantees, subject to a number of restrictive covenants. Except as hereinafter mentioned, the covenants in the various conveyances made by the common grantor were uniform.
