FINAL COPY S18A1052. YARN v. THE STATE. WARREN, Justice. Deondray Yarn was convicted of murder and other crimes in connection with the January 2014 shooting death of Monnie Brabham. On appeal, Yarn contends that the evidence was insufficient to support his convictions, that the trial court abused its discretion in granting continuances over Yarn’s objections, and that his trial counsel was ineffective in communicating a plea offer to Yarn.
