This suit was brought in the District Court of the First ."Judicial District of the' Territory of Wyoming, in and for Laramie County, by the assignee in bankruptcy of the Great Western Insurance Company,, to recover from Daniel McLaughlin tbe sum of $800, with interest at twelve per cent, from the fifteenth day of Augustj 1872, as the amount due and unpaid on a subscription for ten shares of the capital stock of the company, owned, by McLaughlin.
