Appellant Richard Tanksley (“Richard”) was tried before a jury and convicted of attempting to obtain money by false pretenses and extortion. Appellant Alice Tanksley (“Alice”) was tried before a jury and convicted of principal to an attempt to obtain money by false pretenses.
