William M. Keller and his wife, Audrey, brought this suit to recover damages for injuries he sustained in an October 15, 1996 accident that occurred at the Hercules, Inc. (Hercules) plant located in Lum-berton, Mississippi. After Mr. Keller presented his evidence at trial, the trial court granted a directed verdict in favor of Load Right Timber Sales, Inc. (Load Right) and its insurer, Clarendon National Insurance Company,1 dismissing them from the litigation.
