Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Ulster County (Williams, J.), rendered June 25, 2010, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crime of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree (two counts).

Following an altercation in the street where a man was shot in the arm, police apprehended defendant and he confessed to shooting the victim. He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree (two counts) and reckless endangerment in the first degree.
