—Judgment, Supreme Court, New York County (Joan Sudolnik, J.), rendered July 27, 1999, convicting defendant, after a jury trial, of criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, and *210sentencing him, as a second felony offender, to a term of 2 to 4 years, unanimously affirmed.
Since defendant did not argue before the trial court that the evidence of value was legally insufficient to meet the $1,000 threshold for fourth-degree possession (Penal Law § 165.45 [1]), the issue is unpreserved for appellate review and we decline to review it in the interest of justice.
