I. INTRODUCTION

Plaintiffs Kim Hannah (“Hannah”), Tom Irving (“Irving”), and Michael (“Barham”), (collectively, “the plaintiffs”), bring this action against defendants Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. and Wal-Mart Stores East, L.P. (collectively, “Wal-Mart”). The plaintiffs allege that they were subjected to race discrimination and retaliation, in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq, the Connecticut Fair Employment Practices Act, Conn.
