Larry Donnell Williams was convicted of the malice murder of his former girl friend, Marquita Powell, and of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. He was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder conviction and five years to be served consecutively for the firearms conviction. He appeals from the denial of his motion for a new trial.
