Gregory J. LeBron appeals the denial of his motion pursuant to Florida Rule of Criminal Procedure 3.850, which raised twenty-one grounds for relief. The primary basis of the denial was that the motion was not filed within the two-year period prescribed by the rule.
LeBron’s direct appeal of his conviction and sentence became final when the mandate affirming them was issued by this court on October 12, 2001. LeBron, who is incarcerated, certified that he delivered his motion to prison officials on October 10, 2003, although the trial court found that it was untimely filed on October 20, 2003.…
