Appeal from an order of the Supreme Court (Torraca, J.), entered March 2, 1992 in Sullivan County, which denied defendant’s motion for summary judgment dismissing the complaint.
*871Plaintiffs commenced this action to recover for injuries suffered by plaintiff Tina Mott (hereinafter plaintiff) when she slipped and fell in defendant’s grocery store. Following discovery, defendant moved for summary judgment dismissing the complaint upon the ground that plaintiff could not identify the object or substance that caused her to fall. Supreme Court denied the motion and defendant now appeals.
