Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Albany County (Harris, J.), rendered June 6, 1984, convicting defendant upon his plea of guilty of the crime of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree.

During the spring and summer of 1983, police departments in Albany County conducted an investigation into the activities of a suspected drug operation. During the course of the investigation wiretaps were placed on several telephones, including one at defendant’s residence.
