¶ 1. Deborah Skelton, M.D., and Steven J. Patterson, M.D., were sued for medical negligence as a result of the death of Anthony Williams. After suit was commenced by Zeonia Williams, individually and on behalf of Anthony Williams’s wrongful-death beneficiaries, Drs. Skelton and Patterson moved for a dismissal of the case, asserting that Zeonia Williams had failed to comply with the sixty-day notice requirement under Mississippi Code Annotated Section 15-1-36(15) (Rev.2003).
