The plaintiff, a licensed real-estate broker specializing in industrial property, brought suit against the defendant for a real-estate brokerage commission aUegedly due him arising out of a transaction in which the defendant purchased surplus property from the United States government. After a jury trial in which the verdict was returned for the defendant, the plaintiff moved for judgment notwithstanding the verdict or, in the alternative, a new trial.
