This office is in receipt of your request for an opinion of the Attorney General in regard to issuance of an occupational license. You state that your office issues occupational licenses in St. Bernard Parish, and it is your policy to refer applicants to the Planning and Zoning Department of the Parish Government for a zoning clearance prior to the issuance of an occupational license.
