OPINION OF THE COURT

Memorandum.

The order of the Appellate Division should be affirmed.

*1011State Troopers, responding to a report of an automobile accident, found defendant injured and lying near the vehicle on Route 44 in Pleasant Valley. The police recovered from the car a vial of cocaine and a marihuana cigarette, in plain view. Defendant was arrested for driving while his ability was impaired and for possession of narcotics and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
