Plaintiff, an inmate at the Iowa State Penitentiary at Fort Madison, Iowa (“ISP”), filed this action, pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983, alleging that Defendants, the warden and correctional personnel at ISP, violated his Eighth Amendment right *722to be free from cruel and unusual punishment through their placement and retention of him in a screened prison cell at ISP.
