On June 12, 2002, plaintiff David L. Palm filed the complaint in this adversary proceeding, alleging that he received a bankruptcy discharge in 1997, that debts owed to the State of Illinois for income taxes were thereby discharged, and that the defendants have attempted to collect those debts in violation of the discharge injunction.
