The principal parties in interest in this action, J. F. Harbour and J. M. Bass, were formerly partners in business in Gainesville, Texas. They removed to Oklahoma City at an early day in its history and purchased the business of the Oklahoma Furniture Company, and organized a corporation under the laws of Oklahoma Territory, under the name of Bass & Harbour Furniture and Carpet Company, with a capital stock of $50,000, divided into 500 shares of the par value of $100 each.
