Philip M. Perkins (“Plaintiff’) seeks an award of $5,283.55 in attorney’s fees pursuant to the Equal Access to Justice Act (“EAJA”), 28 U.S.C. § 2412. Defendant, the Commissioner of the Social Security Administration (“Commissioner”), contends that Plaintiffs petition is untimely and should be denied.
