This ease involves an effort by a judgment creditor to reach both certain assets of the debtor nominally owned by the debt- or’s wife, and all assets owned by the debtor’s alleged corporate “alter ego,” Kal-if Trading, Inc. The judgment creditor is Goya Foods, Inc., a major business founded in the 1930s which is now a Delaware corporation with its principal place of business in New Jersey. The debtor is Ulpi-ano Unanue-Casal, known as Charles, and his bankruptcy estate. The factual background and prior proceedings are as follows.
