Dwight Daniels was indicted for possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, misdemeanor obstruction of an officer, and felony obstruction of an officer. The trial court directed a verdict of acquittal as to the “intent to distribute” aspect of the drug charge. The jury found Daniels guilty of possession of cocaine and misdemeanor obstruction of an officer, and not guilty of felony obstruction of an officer. Daniels appeals from the conviction entered on the verdict, challenging the sufficiency of the evidence to support the conviction for possession of cocaine.…
