Patrick F. Andrews and Randall C. Mack were both convicted by a jury of first-degree premeditated murder while armed, 1 possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime of violence (PFCV), 2 and two counts each of three weapons offenses: carrying a pistol without a license (CPWOL), 3 possession of an unregistered firearm (UF), 4 and possession of ammunition for an unregistered firearm (UA). 5 The charges against the two men arose from the shooting death of Deyon Rivers on July 7, 2000.
