Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Ulster County (Bruhn, J.), rendered July 18, 1994, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crimes of criminally negligent homicide and endangering the welfare of a child.

By indictment dated September 29, 1992, defendant and her live-in companion, Christopher Myers, were indicted on one count of manslaughter in the second degree and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.* The charges stem from the death of defendant’s infant son, Kenneth Manon.
