This case involves information obtained by wiretap pursuant to Title III of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 (“Title III”). 1 Mr. Lam Lek Chong brought an action under the Freedom of Information Act (“FOIA”) seeking access to certain transcripts of electronically intercepted communications in the possession of the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA” or the “agency”).
