Before the court is the motion of the plaintiffs Joe Ann Hamilton, et al. (“the plain*156tiffs”) for class certification (docket entry 76). For the reasons discussed below, the motion is granted.

I. BACKGROUND

Each of the plaintiffs in this action purchased a title insurance policy from the defendant First American Title Insurance Company (“First American”).
