This is an action upon a'fire insurance policy. The case was tried before the court without the aid of a jury, resulting in a judgment in favor of plaintiff in the'sum of $1684. Defendant has appealed. ‘ ■
The policy sued on was issued on August 10, 1926, by the defendant, a farmers’ mutual fire insurance company, to one Mrs. Alice E. Smith, insuring, among other things, hér dwelling house located in Marion township, Cole county, in the sum of $2400.
