*513COLEMAN, Circuit Judge:

Jacob Jennings, age twenty-five, of Route 1, Box 40, Denmark, South Carolina, previously a convict of attempted murder in the State of Virginia, was convicted of unlawfully transporting a motor vehicle in interstate commerce from Denmark to Fort Pierce, Florida, 18 U.S.C.A. § 2312. We affirm.

James Campbell, a taxi and cafe operator in Denmark, testified that while transporting this appellant and two teenage boys known as “Johnny Mac” and “Ungeraid” he was robbed of the vehicle at gunpoint. During the course of the robbery he attempted to flee, was shot in the hip,…
