Defendants Leon Carmichael, Sr. and Freddie Williams have challenged the makeup of the jury venire and the method of selection of the trial jury that convicted them of conspiring to distribute marijuana and, in Carmichael’s case, conspiring to commit money laundering. As relief, the defendants request that the court grant a new trial.
