Oil August 20, 1917, appellee filed his application before the Industrial Board for an adjustment of his claim against appellant for compensation under the Workmen’s Compensation Act. A hearing thereon was had on- September 13, 1917, at South Bend, Indiana, before a single member of the board, and at which appellant appeared by attorneys. Thereafter on February 27, 1918, said member of the board rendered an award in favor of appellee.
