This -is an action for damages arising from the construction of a railroad. along a street in front of plaintiff’s store-room in the' town of Camden, Ray county, Mo. Camden is a municipal corporation, organized under the-General Statutes. The defendant is a railroad corporation organized under the laws of the state of Illinois. Camden is a small town of a few hundred people, with one principal business street, known as “Front Street,” running through the town east and west, about 60 feet in width.'
