This is an appeal by the husband from an order holding him in contempt for failure to comply with a temporary alimony award. The proceedings began with a suit for divorce filed by the husband on the ground that the marriage was irretrievably broken. The wife answered denying that the marriage was irretrievably broken and counterclaimed for temporary and permanent alimony and a division of property. She alleged that the parties were separated and lived in a bona fide state of separation. A hearing was held and the trial court granted her temporary alimony. The husband dismissed his suit.…
