Frances Kelly, whose husband Michael died of complications from non-Hodgkins lymphoma, sued the Brigham & Women’s Hospital (hospital) and two physicians, Michael Vasconcelles, an oncologist, and Sara Vargas, a resident working in the hospital’s pathology department.
