GARRITY, Judge.

The appellant, Lee Thomas Barnes, was convicted at a jury trial in the Circuit Court for Garrett County of arson, breaking and entering, and malicious destruction. He was sentenced to a total of 15 years imprisonment. On appeal, he contends that several errors occurred during the course of his trial. We shall first address his contention that the evidence presented by the State was insufficient to sustain his convictions, because if the appellant is correct in this allegation, we would be compelled to reverse the convictions without remand for a new trial, and we would not need…
