A. INTRODUCTION
The instant adversary proceeding, having been stayed pending resolution of the questions relating to bankruptcy-court powers raised by the decision in Northern Pipeline Construction Co. v. Marathon Pipeline Co., 458 U.S. 50, 102 S.Ct. 2858, 73 L.Ed.2d 598 (1982), for almost six years, continues to present provocative questions concerning the powers of bankruptcy courts.
