—Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County (Mullen, J.), rendered December 10, 1996, convicting him of attempted rape in the first degree and sexual abuse in the first degree (three counts), upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence. The appeal brings up for review the denial, after a hearing (Jones, J.), of that branch of the defendant’s omnibus motion which was to suppress statements made to the police.
Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.
