Jimmy Carlton Winfrey appeals from the judgment of conviction and sentence entered after he pled guilty to multiple charges of violating the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act (OCGA § 16-15-1 et seq.) (“Street Gang Act”). In his sole enumeration of error, Winfrey contends that the trial court improperly participated in the plea negotiations to the extent that his pleas to the charged offenses were rendered involuntary We affirm for the reasons set forth below.
