Hill, Justice.

Default judgment was entered against appellant Richardson on August 30, 1975, in the amount of $3,307.73. On October 17,1975, Richardson filed a motion to set aside the judgment and a complaint in equity to set aside the judgment. The trial court temporarily restrained enforcement of the default judgment. At a hearing the court ruled inadmissible Richardson’s tendered evidence of an alleged accord and satisfaction of his obligations to Industrial and his evidence that the amount of the judgment was neither an amount on account nor a liquidated amount.
