This suit was filed in the justice court of precinct No. 7, of Montague county, Tex., on the 24th day of June, 1920, against the Fort Worth & Denver City Railway Company, the Missouri, Kansas & Texas Railway Company of Texas, and John Barton Payne, federal Agent, to recover $150 as special damages to 20 head of steers, alleged to have been caused by a negligent de lay in the shipment and delivery of a car of cotton seed hulls from Quanah, Tex., to Na-cona, Tex.
