EISMANN, Justice.

This is an appeal out of Jerome County from a judgment of conviction following a jury trial in which the defendant was found guilty of sexually abusing his two minor stepdaughters. Because the district court erred in denying the Defendant’s motion to try the charges regarding each stepdaughter sepa rately and the State has failed to show that such error was harmless, we vacate the judgment and remand this case for further proceedings.
