OPINION OF THE COURT

GRAVELLE, Judge:

On mixed pleas, the appellant was found guilty of disobeying a lawful order and *798dereliction of duty, in violation of Article 92, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 892 (1982) [hereinafter UCMJ]. A military judge, sitting as a special court-martial, sentenced him to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement for four months, forfeiture of $482.00 pay per month for four months, and reduction to Private El. The convening authority approved the sentence.
