TAMILIA, Judge:
Following a jury trial in September of 1988, appellant, Angel Torres, was convicted of aggravated assault (18 Pa.C.S. § 2702(a)(1)), 1 recklessly endangering another person (18 Pa.C.S. § 2705) and receiving stolen property (18 Pa.C.S. § 3925). Although Mr. Torres at that time was properly advised of his right to file motions for new trial and in arrest of judgment and the consequences of failing to do so, no post-verdict motions were filed. Mr. Torres was sentenced on November 15, 1988 to seven and one-half (7½) to fifteen (15) years incarceration for the aggravated assault,…
