FEINBERG, District Judge.

Petitioner, applying to this Court for a writ of habeas corpus under 28 U.S.C. § 2241,1 is presently confined under a sentence of 15 to 25 years in Green Haven State Prison, Stormville, New York, following his conviction by a jury for the crime of first degree robbery. Petitioner was tried jointly in the Court of General Sessions, New York County, for that offense with two co-defendants.
