The defendant Michelle Griffin (“Griffin”) was a financial advisor in the Boston branch of the plaintiff, The Smith Barney Division of Citigroup Global Markets, Inc. (“Smith Barney”), until December 28, 2007, when she resigned to accept a financial advisor position with NY Life.
